Course goals:

The students will prepare a senior honors thesis based on a BIT188 proposal and research carried out in BIT189L.

Instructors:

Biotechnology Master Advisor and appropriate faculty

Entry level:

Senior standing. Overall GPA of 3.25 or higher and completion of BIT188 and BIT189L.

Subject outline:

Under the direction of a thesis committee selected as a part of participation in BIT189L, students will complete a written thesis describing results and significance of their independent research. The thesis will be critiqued and orally defended to the thesis committee.

Grading and requirements:

Pass/no pass grading.
